WE'VE GOT ANSWERS...

Why choose Proud Paw Photography?

Because your pet rocks and so do we! But on a semi-serious note, our clients choose to work with us for many reasons. These are a few we hear most frequently:
- We wanted a portrait photographer specifically trained to work with animals.
- We wanted to capture memories of our beloved family member as we will remember him or her best (or sometimes, before a pet is no longer with us).
- We want to fill our home with beautifully executed works of photographic art featuring our pet.
- Because my pet deserves it, why should people get all the fun?!

Where are you located?

We are conveniently located in the Ballantyne area of South Charlotte.

How do we book a session?

It starts with a discovery call, where we get to know about you and your pet. We choose a date and time for the session. You pay the session retainer, sign the agreement and complete a small profile form about your pet. Before the shoot date, you will receive a reminder message, full of great information to help you and your pet get ready.

What should we bring?

Your pet's favorite toys, favorite treats, grooming supplies and a collar/lead. We will send a reminder message before you come in that has a ton of great tips on making shoot day a success.

Can I be photographed too?

Yes, of course! Our main focus is on your pet, but if you'd like to be part of the session, please let us know and we can accommodate your request.

What's the process after we shoot? / How long until the photos are ready?

After your session, work begins on getting your photos ready to view. This generally takes 1-2 weeks. Then we will call you to schedule an ordering appointment, where you will view your image proofs, select your favorites, see product samples and place your order. After you've made your selections, final edits and retouching will be completed and sent off for print and/or framing.
Within 3-4 weeks you'll be enjoying your beautiful artwork. Installation is also available.

My pet can't be off a leash or isn't well trained, can you still photograph him?

We are patient! Some pets are tougher to photograph than others, and that's ok. If your pet need to be photographed on a leash, no problem, we'll edit that out later!

What is the cost?

An Image Making Session with Proud Paw Photography is a luxury experience that demands a higher price point than most run-of-the-mill photographers, but can cost as little as a few hundred dollars!

Do you travel?

Yes. For an On-Location Fee (and subject to availability) we can arrange traveling to you for a shoot.

Do you release digital copies?

Because of popular demand, digital copies are available to buy both with and without additional print purchases, at different price points. These digital copies are able to be printed up to a certain size.
